Our History

Marking a significant chapter in the hardware store's history, which had its roots in the community dating back to 1925. The original establishment, Chelan Hardware Co., began its journey over four decades prior to Wayne's acquisition. During its early years, the hardware store shared a building with Chelan State Bank. Interestingly, the office space at Kelly's Hardware now occupies the very vault that once safeguarded the bank's valuables—a unique historical touch within the store.

Over the years, Kelly's Hardware has evolved under the stewardship of three successive generations of the Kelly family. This multi-generational ownership is a testament to the family's enduring commitment to serving the Chelan community and maintaining the hardware store's legacy. Each generation has contributed to the store's growth and development, ensuring that Kelly's remains a reliable and integral part of the local community, offering quality products and personalized service.
